Marin County, California

Marin County is a beautiful coastal county in Northern California, just north of San Francisco across the golden gate bridge. It is known for its scenery, redwood forests, towns. Marin County is a popular destination for tourists and outdoor enthusiasts alike. A car is needed if you want to explore beyond Sausalito.

One of the most popular attractions in Marin County is Muir Woods National Monument, a redwood forest that is home to some of the tallest trees in the world. Visitors can hike through the forest and marvel at the giant redwoods. A reservation is required to visit, so make sure to set up in advance.

Another popular attraction in Marin County is Point Reyes National Seashore, a park with striking coastal views, hiking trails, and wildlife watching opportunities. Visitors can see elephant seals, sea lions, and other marine mammals at Point Reyes.
